Barton Tanner

Barton Tanner

Barton has been moving all his life and playing around for almost as long. His love for getting outdoors is consistent with all his passions from Rugby, skiing, slacklining, going to the beach and trail running. But Barton gets that the experiences worth having are those that are shared with others. After working with outdoor fitness groups since 2011, being a founder of the FEAT Community was a logical next step.

Allister Svendsen

Allister Svendsen

Allister, or Al as he’s known to the group, has always had an interest in movement and multiple sports whether that has been under a marking contest in a game of AFL or carving his way down a steep descent on his snow board in the mountains.

This enduring passion for sport and outdoor activities led him to a career in Fitness and upon meeting Barton the FEAT Fitness vision began to take shape.

His authentic open minded approach to all members of the FEAT community is infectious and he brings out the best in each individual that trains with him at various different FEAT locations throughout Sydney.

Al values commitment, consistency, humility and simply enjoying yourself while training.

Gemma Taylor

Gemma Taylor

Gemma has always had a passion for an active lifestyle. Growing up she trained as a competitive swimmer which lead her to Triathlons in varying distances from sprints up to a ½ Iron Man. She has been a full-time swimming instructor for the last 3 years working with all ages from babies up to adult stroke correction. After training with FEAT for a few months Gemma decided she wanted to make the change to become a group trainer.

Gemma loves working with all the different types of people and learning more about getting people active.

Barbara You

Barbara You

Barbs interest in exercise and fitness started in high school when she discovered that although she was (and still is) small, she had the endurance for long distance running! Barbs is passionate about getting people moving in new ways and seeing them pushing past fears and breaking goals.

Before becoming a personal trainer Barbs was working in the city and running lunchtime workouts for her colleagues. She finally decided to complete her group and personal training certification, met Barton and soon after joined the FEAT family.

Barbs eye for detail and technique is well known in the FEAT community. Her ability to correct form and instil courage sees members becoming stronger and achieving things they didn’t think possible.
