The following terms and conditions apply to your membership:
At FEAT we don’t believe in joining fees. But when you sign up you will receive our FEAT Welcome Pack which includes:
Session costs are calculated over a 4 week period and are billed 4-weekly in advance. The 4 week costs for our packages are:
For ease of presentation the 1 session per / week training option is not displayed on the website pricing page. The first payment will be pro rata to bring all memberships in line with our 4-weekly structure.
Pausing / Freezing your Membership
Our memberships are very flexible, and we do allow you to freeze your membership if you are away from the group for a period of time. To pause your membership we require that you email firstname.lastname@example.org well as your head trainer 2 weeks BEFORE your planned absence. Please include the dates that you wish to pause your membership from and what date you intend to return to training.
As a company, FEAT Fitness is incredibly committed to you and your training community. Hence, we train 52 weeks of the year and there is always a session on at one of our locations on public holidays, except Christmas and New Years. During any of these periods, should you wish to freeze, you simply follow the above process.
Paying for Sessions
We take payment for each 4 week block on the first day of that timetabled cycle. These dates will be communicated to you upon registration.
As a new member your first payment will be an odd amount as we will need to calculate your balancing payment to bring you inline with our training block (eg; if you join with 3 weeks left in the current training block, your first payment will be for 75% of your chosen membership option).
Changing your Membership
If you want to change your membership option, you can do so by emailing your head trainer. This will become effective from the start of the next training block. But don’t let this stop your momentum – if there are 2 weeks left in the training block and you choose to upgrade your membership from 2 session per / week, to 3 sessions per / week, start attending that additional session immediately. We can sort the rest out later.
Cancelling your Membership
Unlike traditional gyms, we do not lock you into any form of contract. So if you wish to cancel your membership at any time all we require is 2 weeks notice prior to your next scheduled payment by emailing your head trainer. Any session credit you have in non refundable, but will be honoured and your training location.
Attending Additional Sessions
At FEAT we are here to support you in your training and in your training community. If you wish to attend additional sessions above and beyond your training package, we strongly encourage this. Within communication with your head trainer, there will be no charge for the occasional extra session. If you are looking to trial a period with more training sessions, speak to your trainer and the above process for ‘Changing your Membership’ will be followed.
Flexible Attendance Options
At FEAT we believe in ‘freedom within structure’. Having multiple locations across multiple training times, these sessions are always open to every member from all locations. If you miss a session and need to make it up, your trainer may encourage you to take one of the options from another training location if it suits you better. Note that this is all done within communication with your head trainer or through our Sunday Text booking process.
Unused sessions may not be credited to the next 4 week block. The reason is simple – by paying for and agreeing to complete the sessions in a specific period of time you are entering into a commitment with yourself. Knowing that you will not be credited for missed sessions (while having the option of the flexible attendance pattern) will help to ensure that you make a real commitment to your training over the 4 week block. Please note that this policy will be strictly adhered to.
